The security feature of site isolation in Chrome's Chrome browser is set by default on version 67. Spectrum vulnerability attacks should be avoided.
Google announced in a blog that version 67 of Chrome and later versions have the Site Isolation security feature from the beginning. This feature is designed to prevent private data or login information from being read by third parties in the context of speculative side channel attacks such as spectrum vulnerability.
This feature is available on Windows, Mac, Linux, and Chrome OS. Google has announced that it will have additional features as part of its site isolation action. Since the announcement of the Specter vulnerability has been recognized that the danger for web browsers is quite relevant, which has moved Google to these measures. The site isolation is a major change in the architecture of Chrome that prevents attacks between different processes, and therefore between web pages.
