CymbiQ (Ispin) acquires the Austrian security specialist Anovis

A pan-European security group needs to be set up around Ispin.

Marco Marchesi takes the first step on the path announced by inside-channels.ch in February to make Bassersdorf security specialist, Ispin, a pan-European actor: part of the money injected by the company from German investment Capiton will become the takeover of the Austrian security specialist Anovis used.

At the same time, the name of the proposed group was announced: it is called CymbiQ Group, and Marchesi acts as CEO.

Managed Security Service Provider Anovis will expand the service offering of the group in the areas of service, consulting and solutions. And, of course, geographic coverage will also be increased, especially since Anovis has branches in the Czech Republic and the United States in addition to its headquarters in Vienna.

The founder of Anovis, Adi Reschenhofer, joins the CymbiQ group. In addition to CEO Marchesi, Strategy Director Tom Koehler and Antonio Sirera, the current CEO of Ispin, are also members of the Executive Board. Reschenhofer will continue to manage the business of Anovis Vienna with General Manager Albert Fragner.

The security market is growing extremely fast, but at the same time very fragmented, said Marchesi at inside-channels.ch in February. The consequence, therefore his thesis, would be a strong wave of consolidation. "In the current situation, you can either wait until you consolidate, or you can sit in the driver's seat."
