The "Donnschtig-Jass" begins in a new tour. In the opening show, a television presenter caption passes.
Summertime is Jass time! From July 5th, the team of "Donnschtig-Jass" returns on a big tour of the country. When traveling through the cities, different places play against each other – from the Canton of Bern, every week, through the Graubunden up to Appenzell-Ausserrhoden. Announced is an entertaining mix of games and home entertainment mixed with the feel of a village feast. Of course, two shows will compete: During the opening broadcast, the Bernese communities of Thun and Zweisimmen in Klingnau AG vote for the right to broadcast the next live broadcast. The grand finale of the tour will take place on August 16 in the canton of Appenzell-Ausserrhoden, where the best-off communities face off against each other again. Four Jass rounds are played in each case. As always, referee Dani Müller oversees the participants to make sure everything is settled correctly. The Jass-Sause is moderated by Roman Kilchsperger.
In the first issue, the 48-year-old hosts many distinguished guests. For example, Rita & Sepp and artists from the musical "Mamma Mia" provide background music, while Beni Thurnheer dares to go to celebrity games. Originally Bernhard Russi wanted to stop in Klingnau, but the skier had to cancel due to a return operation. The fact that Thurnheer did not come from Aargau but from Winterthur had caused some discontent on the part of the local press as the race approached.
Meanwhile, Klingnau is diligently preparing for Jass's show in recent weeks. As reported by the "Aargauer Zeitung", several owners have had the facades of their old town houses renovated, and a local bakery recently sells a "Jass table" made from the purest and purest chocolate.
