HarmonyOS was recently unveiled at the 2019 HDC show in China, and Huawei pointed out that once IoT or wearable devices will benefit from the new operating system. Apparently, this is happening sooner than expected. But not only does Huawei play with the idea of its own operating system on its smart watches. In addition, should probably change a lot of the design.

Huawei Watch 3 is already on the market with HarmonyOS

Google Wear OS does not seem to succeed in the market. After all, the industry is dominated by one watch: the Apple Watch is not just the smartest-selling watch, it's also the best-selling wearable of all time (with fitness monitoring) . In second place is Samsung with its Galaxy Watch models. Both watches have something in common: they operate on their own operating system, rather than on Google Wear OS. Samsung is relying on TizenOS and Apple, of course, on its own watchOS.

Huawei, on the other hand, has tried a lot: whether it's your own Lite operating system or Google Wear OS. Huawei smart watches simply do not fire and simmer on the back of the charts. This is something you want to approach a little differently with the upcoming Huawei Watch 3. This will come with the already introduced Huawei HarmonyOS and will offer a new operating system from the start.

The question is whether the Chinese manufacturer Huawei Watch 3 and HarmonyOS is ready to fight this way with the two major competitors. However, if the service is correct and also convinces the selection of the app after a while, that would be at least another good alternative. But wait and see.

The second version (photo) is still there. The Huawei Watch 3 could however look like the Apple Watch.

Huawei Watch 3 will receive a design similar to that of Apple Watch

The Apple Watch has a rather angular design and is therefore more exotic on the smartwatches market. Huawei and Samsung have a traditionally round dial. But that can change now too, because according to a high-level official from Huawei, the next Huawei smartwatch should also have a square design.

Incidentally, the statement does not come from any member of the company. Vice President Shen Yiren himself commented on the new design. This should already be clear here once clarity. We are curious to know what might be the first leaks of Huawei Watch 3.
