Johannesburg, July 25, 2018: Sibanye-Stillwater (Krzel JSE: SGL and NYSE: SBGL – http://www.commodity-tv.net/c/search_adv/?v=298294) announces that all outstanding terms necessary to complete the Gold streaming agreement and Palladium with Wheaton Precious Metals International Ltd. (Wheaton International) was respected

According to the agreement, Sibanye-Stillwater received $ 500 million from Wheaton International for a quantity of gold and palladium representing one for cent of its gold and palladium production Platinum Group Metals (PGM) operations in the United States (including East Boulder and Stillwater Plants) (the transaction). The transaction came into effect on July 1, 2018.

$ 500 million of the transaction will result in a competitive price in terms of corporate debt and alternative financing available on the capital markets International. The transaction directly reduces Sibanye-Stillwater's leverage and reduces the adjusted net debt / EBITDA ratio from 0.6 to 0.7 times. This ensures a significantly lower Group debt ratio than the current and future level of insurance, thus reducing the Group's financing costs.
