At a God Wars fan event, Kadokawa Games announced God Wars 2 this weekend, following the famous strategic role-playing game Japanese. Only at the beginning of last year, NIS America released the first part entitled God Wars: Beyond Time, which was published in the West under the title God Wars: Future Past.
The first part saw a Japanese folk history with strategic struggles. From the point of view of the three nations that were at war with each other, you learned a lot about the traditional stories of this land.
A long time ago, there was a beautiful kingdom made up of three nations: Fuji, Izumo and Hyuga. The country itself called Mizuho. The inhabitants of the empire despised conflicts, honoring the spirits of their ancestors and living in harmony with nature. But over time, people's behavior has changed. They started farming, forging metal, making weapons, waging wars, destroying nature and forgetting ancestral spirits.
In August, a re-release of the game will be released in the West under the title God Wars: The Complete Legend. This version appears for Nintendo Switch. Previous platforms receive updates. The version for Nintendo Switch is the revised version of the game and already includes the "Legend of Yomi" extension as well as improvements in game mechanics.
