So, the Wormser company now has the Commandos series complete with Commandos: Behind the Enemy Lines, Commandos 2: Men of Courage, Commandos 3: Destination Berlin and Commandos: Strike Force. Other brands of Pyro-Studios, such as Imperial Glory and Praetorians, have also secured Kalypso.

Kalypso plans to make HD remakes of the now dead Commandos episodes. However, when and for what platforms they should appear is not yet clear. The publisher also wants to revive the series with a sequel. Kalypso is always looking for developers for the project.

With Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines appeared in 1998 the first part of the Commandos series. The series consists mainly of real-time tactical titles set up in the Second World War. After three sets of successful real-time tactics, the Commandos Series changed direction in 2006 with Commandos: Strike Force. Commandos has left the tactical genre with isometric perspective and is presented as a game of stealth and action from the point of view of the first person – with moderate success. It is conceivable that Kalypso returns to the roots of the series with the next part.
