Microsoft completely removed the Lootboxes in its parry running game

For a time, Lootboxing was considered a big problem, with few video game makers in the rewards boxes. But these quickly fell into the line of fire of the critics. Because, time and time again, there was the charge that it is such a game of luck, especially if you could get critical objects of the game that way.

There were also discussions about these loot boxes at Microsoft's flagship racing game, Forza Motorsport. This has already been corrected by Microsoft in the previous parts. Still in the last part of the series, there have been discussions about it and the developer Turn 10 has now pulled the biggest possible consequences: they are cheating completely out of price.

Their existence alone was a nuisance for many, because for real money you could not buy this kind of Forza – Lootboxen – unlike other games. Yet, they were more than unloved. Alan Hartman, the boss of Studio 10 of the shoot, notes in an announcement that the reactions were "overwhelming" and that this element of the game did not seem out of place in Forza Motorsport 7.

Do not go so fast

Hartman explains, however, that you can not just throw the loot boxes out of the game at night, because it is there that (too) a lot of game elements are related. You do not want to replace them with payment tokens either. Therefore, it will take a little more time to completely rebuild the system, by the time an appointment is scheduled for the winter.

Hartman also announced that payrolls would not be part of Forza Horizon 4 either. It will take time before you can completely rebuild Forza Motorsport 7. Nevertheless, we will make the Lootboxen already obsolete, since the 100 cars here exclusively hidden are unlocked for everyone. In the boxes you will only find "cosmetic" items such as running clothes.
