Nightflyers: First trailer of the new Netflix series

S A book from the series "The Song of Ice and Fire" and the accompanying series "Game of Thrones" made George R. Martin famous. The writer with the curly beard has since become a cult. But in addition to the story on the fictional continent of Westeros, the author has other works to offer. Under the name "Nightflyers" in 1980, he published a science fiction novel and built it in 1985 to a news collection. Two years later, director Robert Collector filmed it for the first time. Since 2018, a series is under development, whose marketing rights are outside the US Netflix. 2019 should start "Nightflyers" to the streaming provider.

Nightflyers: Scifi shocker trailer

The video-on-demand service first released a teaser for the series, now there is a full trailer. "Nightflyers" should shoot in the US on television on Syfy station and shock the audience. Even the few excerpts make it clear: the series is science fiction with a lot of psycho-horror. The author even describes his story as "Psycho in Space by Alfred Hitchcock". Eight scientists use the spaceship "The Nightflyer" to search for extraterrestrial life. The trip, however, is mutating into a struggle of life and death due to unforeseen events.

Behind the production is an experienced team: Jeff Buhler ("Midnight Meat Train by Clive Barker – Midnight Meat Train") is responsible for the script and acts as a producer. The latter is supported by director Doug Liman ("The Bourne Identity"). Processes like Showrunner should keep Daniel Cerone ("Dexter") running. In front of the camera are Gretchen Mol ("Boardwalk Empire"), Eoin Macken ("Resident Evil – The Last Chapter"), David Ajala ("Fast & Furious 6") and Sam Strike ("EastEnders").
