More than 1,300 riders participated in Titisee-Neustadt.
For the fourth time, the 400-meter race of a particular type took place in the Black Forest on the Hochfirstschanze. As in the previous three events, in 2018, values such as stamina, discipline, and fighting spirit were again at the center of concern. Whether as an individual starter or with three other relay skiers, the athletes were convinced. As in the past two years, Ahmet Arslan had a close race and made the perfect treble after 3: 34.8 minutes in the last race. In addition to his three wins at Titisee-Neustadt, Arslan has 14 more wins around the world. I am happy. Three times I started at Titisee-Neustadt and three times I made it to the first place, the race in Germany is something very special for me. Next year, I will definitely come back to defend my title, Arslan said after his victory. Just behind the victorious Trken was Simon Stiebjahn, a local hero from Titisee-Neustadt. After leading the peloton in the first few meters, he had to pass the three fastest men in the final section. In 3: 36.8 minutes, Tomas Celko was second with 1.1 seconds ahead of Julian Kern.
