The mod project is already in its final phase, but it is not finished yet. For example, there are still missing new character models for the player, NPCs and opponents, and some optical enhancements for items and weapons. The development team, consisting of two modders, is still working on it, but the current version is already playable.

As Mod, the project does not have to worry about being hired by Capcom – after all, the main game is still needed. The situation was different for a 17 year old who replicated the P.T. demo in the Unreal Engine 4. Konami unplugged the project but at least offered an internship to the student.
