Schopfheim-Fahrnau. The last concert before the summer holidays belongs to the jazz – the organizers of the concert series "Klassik im Krafft-Areal" of Fahrnauer stick to this tradition again this year. For example, on Saturday, July 14, Georges Bizet's "Carmen", in a version for jazz trio and speaker, will be presented

"Carmen" – one of the most famous operas of all time with majestic melodies, a fickle heroine and a tenor in love, but also a plot difficult to grasp.

But these puzzles are staged in the jazz swing version of "Carmen", the Daniel Mark Eberhard as arranger and Wolfgang Griep as editor have all solved.

From the opening to the dramatic finale, they accompany José and Carmen. While Wolfgang Griep tells the tantalizing story of love and love and the ill effects of smoking, Daniel Eberhard plays with Harald Rüschenbaum on drums and Uli Fiedler on double bass with the arias of Carmen.

Harald Rüschenbaum has worked with great jazz musicians since 1993 as director of the Landes-Jugendjazzorchester Bayern. For his excellent work in promoting young talents, he received the Federal Cross of Merit in 2003.

Klaus Füger was a jazz bassist on the road all over the world. He is now an internist at Tettnang

Daniel Mark Eberhard is professor of music education and musical didactics at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt

Wolfgang Griep is a historian and specialist of literature
