Shenmue heard most of the Shenmue 3 announcement anyway. But Shenmue has a long history – they have experienced very little. Otherwise, Shenmue 3 would probably have been done much sooner. In the first episode, Corey details the scenery and history of Shenmue I & II and tells the story of Ryo's investigation and his pursuit of revenge for the murder of his father but also the mysterious dragon mirror that his father had hidden and probably had to give his life to protect this artifact. Ryo Lan Di's revenge quest, the man in the Chinese dress that killed his father in front of his eyes, leads him to various places in China accompanied by many interesting characters from the city of Yokosuka.
