Tech CEO develops a concept for a flying train

A Tech CEO has an exciting idea for the mobility of the future: he would cross a plane with a train. The passengers could then take their flight to the station.

The concept of Akka Technologies, called Link & Fly, works as follows: Passengers board a train. This goes straight to the track, where the train compartment is moored directly to a plane there. However, the transport base remains on track. The aircraft is in principle only the cockpit, which is connected by a longitudinal axis with two wings. It is then on the old train compartment, so the vehicle is ready to take off. In this way, passengers would only have to board a train instead of having to find other transportation routes to the airports and change them several times of trains.

The idea came from Maurice Ricci, CEO of Akka Technologies. Apparently, he has now introduced him to Boeing. Too much hope for a full implementation of the system, it does not do so, however, according to Futurism, because it would probably be too costly an adaptation. After all, he hopes that one or the other part of the concept will be realized someday.
