Best Zoom on the HTC U12 Plus: The Taiwan manufacturer is currently rolling out an update for its current flagship model. The new software is mainly aimed at improving the smartphone's camera.
HTC Public Relations Manager Jeff Gordon even announced the HTC U12 Plus update via Twitter. The goal of the update is the higher smartphone's camera: For example, the automatic zoom is much smoother when recording video than before. The new software also includes Google's June 2018 security update, as well as optimizations for the numeric buttons and the edge detection feature. According to Gordon, the update is initially available in Taiwan, but will soon be deployed in the United States and Europe. An exact date for launch Gordon does not call – the update should be "in the coming weeks" available. The firmware for the HTC U12 plus carries the identification number 1.21.709.3 in Taiwan. In Germany, however, this number may vary slightly.
