Is this a helmet? Or a smartwatch? No, obviously it's both. From Huawei's TalkBand B5, a first image has now appeared. Thus, the hybrid notebook differs little from its predecessors in some places.

A smartwatch that turns into a Bluetooth headset with a simple touch. Huawei realized this idea for the first time in 2014 with TalkBand B1. Four years and two models later, the company plans to launch a new version of the wearables. This is to carry the name TalkBand B5 – the "4" is probably jumped into the name of the model because it is considered a misfortune in China. How the gadget should look like, shows a photo that leaked expert Evan Blass posted on Twitter. You can see the device as a smartwatch with a leather strap and released as a Bluetooth hands-free kit next to a metal bracelet. It basically resembles its TalkBand B3 and TalkBand B2 predecessors.

What are the improvements to come?

If the Huawei TalkBand B5 really appears soon, the question remains whether the model will stand out from its predecessors. Air up is there: on the predecessor, the TalkBand B3, criticized some testers, especially low power and lack of quality of the headphone's voice. However, this last point in particular should be important for this type of product. Maybe the Chinese manufacturer has learned from the past and has taken the critics seriously. However, it is not known yet when the hybrid could be officially introduced.

Not only does the TalkBand B5 show that Huawei apparently likes to experiment: It's only recently that a manufacturer's patent has appeared, which shows a smartwatch with support for wireless headphones. It seems that the company wants to differentiate itself from the wearable competition in the future by special features.
