Striker André Schürrle of Borussia Dortmund plays in the next two seasons for FC Fulham
The 27-year-old player will be rewarded "subject to clarification of final details" for two years in the Premier League promoted, said the BVB
"We thank André for this commitment and wish him the best for his passage in London," said the sports director of Dortmund Michael Zorc in a statement from the club.
Schürrle already has experience in the Premier League. From 2013 to early 2015, he spent a year and a half playing at FC Chelsea in London before settling at FC Wolfsburg.
With his move from Wolfsburg to Borussia Dortmund two years ago, Schürrle was BVB's most expensive entry with 30 million. However, the 2014 World Champion could not meet the expectations associated with this. Under the new coach Lucien Favre, he apparently did not see a great prospect. At first, Schürrle went to the training camp in the United States, but was later released for negotiations. He was no longer in the team during the test against Manchester City on Saturday. (dpa)
