T-Mobile kills its own TV streaming service in favor of YouTube TV

T-Mobile’s TV streaming services will not be the same after April 29: the operator announced that it was expanding its collaboration with Google through its products, including TVision. Current TVision Live customers can get one month free of YouTube TV (worth $ 65) and three months free of YouTube Premium ($ 12). Live is T-Mobile’s $ 40 per month plan that offers 30 channels, which can be upgraded to Live + with additional sports channels for an additional $ 10. Meanwhile, current customers of Vibe – the tier that offers live and on-demand programming for $ 10 a month – can get a free month of Philo. After those free months end, T-Mobile customers can continue their YouTube TV and Philo subscriptions for $ 10 less than their original prices. This means that they will only pay $ 55 per month for YouTube TV and $ 10 per month for Philo.

T – Mobile customers will be able to stream content from these services through TVision Hub, the low-cost streaming dongle powered by Android TV, but they will also be able to use their Roku or other streaming device. Existing TVision customers can take advantage of these offers by logging into their T-Mobile accounts or calling the operator’s customer service for a trade link. T-Mobile customers who don’t have a TVision subscription can sign up for YouTube TV with T-Mobile for $ 10 off starting April 6.
