T-Mobile has extended its partnership with Google, according to an October 4 blog post, giving customers access to a Google One cloud storage plan that is not available to most Google users. On October 12, T-Mobile customers will have access to an exclusive Google One plan: 500GB for $ 5 per month after a 30-day free trial.

The new plan offers more storage than Google One’s standard plan, which is 200GB for $ 3 per month. If you’re looking for profitability, the T-Mobile plan is more cost effective, giving you 100GB of storage per dollar, compared to around 67GB per dollar compared to the standard plan.

T-Mobile’s blog post also states that customers will also have the option to choose a 2TB plan at $ 10 per month. However, it looks the same as the prices listed for other Google One customers, so there doesn’t seem to be anything special about this deal.

If you find yourself consuming online storage space quickly, the 500GB plan offers good value, but it’s probably overkill for anyone who doesn’t drown in photos and videos.
