T-Mobile – and T-Mobile alone – will sell the OnePlus 7 Pro in the United States.

The US carrier will launch the OnePlus phone, based in China, in its flagship Times Square store in New York on May 14, and will do so in five other flagship stores in the country the next day. Availability throughout the country starts on May 17th. The Times Square launch ceremony is already complete, T-Mobile said in a statement on Thursday.

T-Mobile's CEO, John Legere, seems particularly excited about the phone. "The phone that everyone wants … @ TMobile has it!", Legere tweeted Thursday. "We are the ONLY place in the US where customers can get the @OnePlus 7 Pro exclusively!"

the OnePlus 7 Pro, an Android phone, is an improved version of OnePlus 7. This will be one of the first devices in the United States to support 5G networking. In addition to faster connectivity, the new phone will have a curved screen of 6.64 inches. It will ship a front camera pop-up and rear triple cameras, including one with an ultra-wide lens. Images that filtered through the Chinese social site Weibo display a device that looks like Samsung's high-end phones.
