Collapse. Collapse. Embarrassment.
Look for any of these words in the dictionary and the performance of the Warriors Game 2 against the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday night should bring us to the mind.
The two-time defending champions of the NBA had a 31-point lead eight minutes from the end, but they were unable to close the deal and take a 2-0 playoff lead in Los Angeles .
Instead, the Clippers finished the third quarter on a 36-12 record and were outpaced by just 14 before the fourth.
Out of their rhythm and lacking concentration, the Warriors continued to flip the ball and leave the door open for the Clippers. It was an opportunity for the Doc Rivers club: Landry Shamet scored a 3-pointer with 16 seconds to give the Clippers a 135-131 victory.
So how did the Warriors explore the biggest advance in the history of the NBA playoffs? One word: arrogance.
The former warrior Stephen Jackson participated in the show "First Things First" of FOX Sports 1 and explained how the presence of the team allowed the Clippers to hang out, while the collection of fierce players LA did the rest.
"The Warriors have become too arrogant and thought the Clippers were going to bed.I pray that I have a full team like Montrezl, Lou Williams and Patrick Beverely, who love the game and do not care who is before them – that's what Doc Rivers did, they did not stop. Stack Jack has a point.
The Warriors are well aware of the disparity of talent in the series, which has pushed them to play carefree basketball for long periods of Games 1 and 2, confident that their talent will win in the end.
This will probably be the case in this series, but the Dubs have to clean up their game and regain interest in the playoffs.

The first task of the warriors should be to send the pesky clippers as soon as possible.
Destroying the 31-point lead already guaranteed that the series would last three more days and that the Warriors had to make sure they did not go further than the fifth game. With the Houston Rockets potentially waiting in the semifinals of the Western Conference, the Warriors want everything else that they can before that slugfest.
