Taco Bell appears to be the latest fast food joint to be hit by supply shortages nationwide.

The California-headquartered company warned customers it could run out of some dishes “due to national ingredient shortages and delivery delays,” according to a banner on its website.

It’s unclear which specific ingredients have dried up or how widespread the problem is – but hungry customers have taken note.

“A Taco Bell employee told me there was a ‘national shortage of everything right now’, and I decided to get my business news exclusively from drive-thru employees from now on.” , said one person wrote on Twitter Monday.

A user from Michigan said his Taco Bell is out of chicken and beef, add, “I just ate black beans in a hard shell. was not worth it.

A customer on Reddit wrote that his local restaurant “couldn’t make burritos because they were made from 10 inch tortillas, and none of the tacos had lettuce or tomato on them.”

“I went back into the player and asked about it and they said they pretty much ran out of everything that was fresh.”

The channel did not provide further details, saying only that “due to domestic transport delays occurring in most sectors of the industry, we may temporarily run out of certain items.”

“We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to meet the current desires of Taco Bell fans again soon,” the statement added.

The culinary cut comes as the United States is hit by a poultry shortage caused by pandemic safety measures and an increase in demand for recently released fried chicken sandwiches at several fast food chains, including KFC.

In May, Chick-fil-A said it would limit the number of condiments allowed per customer due to the industry-wide supply shortage.
