Taiwan's PCB companies are preparing mass production for the new iPad, AirPod

Flexium Interconnect and Zhen Ding Technology flexible printed circuit boards are preparing for mass production of Apple's next-generation iPad devices, while Compeq Manufacturing and Unitech are providing flexible-flex cards for the upcoming AirPods, according to sources of the sector.
Apple is expected to introduce its next-generation iPad and AirPods series at an event to be held on March 25, announced the same sources.
Both Zhen Ding and Flexium could see their deliveries for Apple's next iPad models offset a slowdown in shipments for iPhones in the first half of 2019, sources said. At the same time, the availability of Apple 's much – anticipated AirPods 2 is seen as a boost for Compeq' s and Unitech 's business figure during the semester, sources continued.
Zhen Ding said consolidated revenue for the first two months of 2019, down 29.7% year-over-year, to $ 12.11 billion ($ 391.8 million) ), while Flexium's revenues fell 31.2% to 2.92 billion USD for the same period.
