Take a look at Spigen's Galaxy Fold prototype housings

Although major design flaws with the Galaxy Fold have forced Samsung to postpone its launch, smartphone maker Spigen is still pursuing plans to develop phone cases. Spigen has three developing cases: Tough Armor, Ultra Hybrid and Thin Fit. After showing us some models in March, the company has now shared real photos of some of its prototypes.

Spigen notes that its Tough Armor case was the most difficult to develop because of its hinge protection purpose. However, based on the photos, it seems that the exposed hinge still does not protect against the greatest weakness of the Galaxy Fold – debris that can slide under the screen, according to the disassembly of iFixit.

Here is a GIF that shows how the hinge works:

And here's what the Ultra Hybrid and Thin Fit cases look like. Both cases will be made from plastic and silicone such as PC, TPU and PU.

A spokesman for Spigen said the products would be ready in a few weeks and that pending orders would open soon. The cases are expected to be available in mid-May, which is even earlier than June 13, when AT & T claims to ship Galaxy Fold pre-orders. Everyone guesses when and if the phone will be delivered, but Spigen does not seem to worry:
