Another week has passed, bringing with it a fantastic Indie World showcase, suspicious Zelda lists and a big sale of multiplayer games on Switch, but it’s finally time to sit down and discuss our game plans for the week. -end.
That’s exactly what the Nintendo Life members have done below, and we would love you to join us through our poll and comment sections. Enjoy!

I just finished watching the new Netflix documentary series High score (worth a look, I might add) and it gets me in the mood for a retro game. So this weekend I decided to relive the glory days with games like the original Donkey kong, Super Mario Bros., Excitebike, Sonic the hedgehog, Star Fox and CONDEMN. Of course, I’ll be playing them all on my Nintendo Switch.
In terms of more modern offerings, I could play through A short hike (again) – you know, one of the many games was dropped during the Indie World presentation earlier this week. It’s a really lovely game that’s worth reserving for a few hours if you haven’t already. Play!

This weekend I will continue my reading of Paper Mario: King of Origami, which I quite appreciate so far. I recently reached the Desert Zone and just experienced what I will painfully call the “but why, Bobby?” Why would you do this to me? moment. If you’ve made it to this point in the game as well, you’ll know exactly what I mean (and I’m sorry I brought it up again).
The combat system has been heavily criticized by fans of the series, but as someone who hasn’t played a Paper Mario game in about 15 years, I don’t compare it to previous entries and actually think that it’s pretty fun. The boss battles in particular are spectacular, and I can’t wait to take on more.

Hello. Indie Direct last week saw an absolute ton of really good stuff being announced and sneaked into the eShop, so I’m going through a few of these for review while trying to mop up the last tracks I missed on my playthrough of Peaky Blinders: Mastermind, with which I really enjoyed my time.
Elsewhere I get stuck Risk of rain 2 after being recommended by several friends and trying to end my first full season in the sublime Super Mega Baseball 3. Honestly, even if you’re not a huge fan of the game in real life, this is one of the best sports games on Switch, a perfect balance of arcade and simulation that I just can’t stop playing. . Have a great weekend, whatever you do or play!
As always, thanks for reading! Be sure to leave a vote in the poll above and a comment below with your game choices over the next few days …
