TAMPA, Fla – Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Bruce Arians kept his word by promising that when (not if) the Bucs won the Super Bowl, he would get a tattoo.

Arians, 68, tweeted the photo Tuesday with: “I’m a man of my word -“ When we win the Super Bowl I’ll get a tattoo. ”Well, I have mine and I love it! ! #SBLV “

The tattoo features the Super Bowl LV logo with the Lombardi Trophy, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers logo and the final score, 31-9.

“I called my bet, and I’m really happy with it too,” Arians said of the new ink.

He made the bet with the strength team and tight ends coach Rick Christophel in August.

Ariens’ son Jake Arians told ESPN his family knew about the bet and loved it to be his first tattoo.

“I think it’s awesome. Over forty years of blood, sweat, tears and passion went into it,” Jake Arians said. “People get tattoos everyday with a lot less meaning or importance. Whether it’s her first is pretty badass.

The Arians may have inspired some of his players to get their own Super Bowl tattoos, with running back Ronald Jones II and cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting each saying they are as follows.

Catcher Mike Evans and safety Antoine Winfield Jr. are Bucs players who already have their own Championship ink.
