Tampa Bay parties, creepy night before the Super Bowl

It’s pretty amazing … the actual Super Bowl will be COVID-safe with rigid rules, while the city itself has gone in the totally opposite direction, and all the proof you need is just on video.

Thousands of revelers packed into Tampa’s Ybor City and SoHo districts on Saturday night and it couldn’t be more dangerous … hardly anyone wears a mask and the sardines have more room to stretch out than these people.

The crowd is a mix of local college students and many more who have flown to Tampa for fun.

The city and the NFL encouraged people to wear masks and socially distance themselves, but that was not happening. You see police cars in the neighborhood, but we didn’t see any cops or other officials trying to secure things. It probably wouldn’t have done any good anyway.

The WTR Tampa pool inside the Godfrey Waterfront Hotel was poppin ‘all weekend, with Steve aoki happening Friday night and Diplo and 50 cents take the stage on Saturday … once again, with non-existent COVID precautions.
