The two-door TTS gets a sportier style; previous observations indicate lower variants to receive the same treatment.
The images of the updated Audi TT have leaked online, indicating the design changes that we can expect to see on the two doors facelifted when it launches [19659004]. , these images show a TTS coupe with a more aggressive style than its predecessor, indicated by an enlarged front divider and diffuser. Before the leak, TT development cars spotted at the Nürburgring showed that lower variants would also benefit from similar improvements.
The technical specifications of the car have not yet been published. Nevertheless, the list of engines of the car will most probably remain unchanged. The current TT is equipped with a 1.8-liter TFSI, a 2.0-liter TFSI and a 2.0-liter TDI. Audi is likely to focus on improving the efficiency and production of current gasoline powertrains for the next-gen model. Even the TT RS range, which uses a turbocharged five-cylinder engine of 2.5 liters, is likely to undergo minor changes. However, these could include a boost to the current 400hp car past the 405hp mark.
The last TT acted as a halo car for the brand's Virtual Cockpit system on its introduction. The facelifted car, however, should make a smaller lead in this region. The design of the cabin and other interiors should not change too much.
The current model was launched in 2014 at the Geneva Motor Show. Recent observations of a development car in Europe, along with the leaked images, suggest that Audi is about to reveal its facelifted TT.
The third generation Audi TT was available in India from 2015, but only in the state of 230hp. It is currently priced at Rs 73.54 lakh (on the road, Delhi). There is no word on when he will bring this facelift to our shores.
