New Delhi : Vistara decided on Monday to add 50 narrow-body aircraft Airbus A320neo to its fleet of 21 aircraft
The full-service airline based in Gurgaon, launched by the Tatas and Singapore Airlines, has signed a letter of intent for 13 A320neo and is engaged with 37 other A320neo aircraft. The combined agreements would add 50 A320neo aircraft to the Vistara fleet. The engine choice for the last Vistara drive is supposed to be Leap CFM.
Airbus and Vistara signed their agreement at Farnborough, where aircraft manufacturers are presenting products at an international air show.
The price value of 50 A320neo aircraft is about $ 5.5 billion and the aircraft is popular with airlines around the world. According to Airbus, more than 100 customers have ordered some 6,100 aircraft to date.
The A320neos, where the neo represents a new engine option, features a single-aisle cab.
