Faith Evans and Stevie J hired wedding hours before the ceremony

Faith Evans and Stevie J fired a Cardi B and Offset style wedding … the hiring of their Las Vegas officiating a few hours before saying, "I do."

Sources close to the couple say to TMZ … Faith called Tuesday at 18h a local minister, named Joelle Righetti asking if she was available to make a wedding at the hotel Trump , stat.

Righetti refers to herself on her website as "Mobile Gypsy Minister."

As we reported for the first time … Vegas Courthouse where they obtained a marriage license . A little less than 5 hours later – around 10:30 pm – the ceremony is over.

The ceremony was held in the living room of their hotel suite with Faith and Stevie overlooking the Vegas Strip. Sources close to the couple tell us that they were holding hands and tearing while "Ave Maria" was playing on a portable speaker.

We are told that the "Gypsy minister" – whose services cost a few hundred dollars – had no idea she was marrying celebrities. She even asked Faith if she was a model or actress. Faith politely said that she is a singer … to which the minister said, "Me too!"

I must love Vegas.
