Due to the missing functionality of a list of websites, some speculate that Halo: Infinite will not be available on Xbox Play Anywhere and therefore on PC.
Microsoft has made a great song and dance around Xbox Play Anywhere, and it's not hard to see why. The program brings all Microsoft's first-party games to Xbox as well as PC and allows players to own both versions while also being able to continue their progress between platforms as well. It's a very cool system and has had great implications. We have seen the return of Gears of War to the PC with Gears of War 4 because of the program and of course, many are excited about the idea of having Halo on the PC for the first time since Halo 2 .
Or rather, it was supposed. It seems that there might be a reason to be cautious. DynamiteCop of NeoGAF (via Gamespot) has noticed that the feature is not on the site for the next game in the series, Halo: Infinite . This is potentially strange because the feature is listed for other upcoming games such as Gears 5 . Although not definitive, it is definitely something to pause for something that most people supposedly would arrive.
However, I would like to warn that this might indicate that Halo: Infinite is in development. Halo is still the jewel of the Microsoft FPS and discussions on what to do with the game could still be in progress. In addition, this could be the case of Microsoft who would like to keep the news for a big revelation at E3. We will have to see about it
