Xiaomi will unveil the successor of the popular Mi A1 in Spain on Tuesday. The new smartphone runs on Android stock as part of Google's Android One platform. Xiaomi will also launch a light version of the new smartphone, called Mi A2.
Before the official launch, Xiaomi posted a bunch of teasers on Twitter to unveil some details on the smartphone. The company has hinted that Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite will be available in pink and blue color options as well as on Android v8.1 (Oreo). The Android One program ensures that phones will receive Android OS updates and security patches released by Google the same day they are deployed.
Another important element of the new phone will be the configuration of the dual rear camera. . It can be recalled that the A1 Mi also came with a dual rear camera configuration. The latest versions will have a telephoto lens for optical zoom and will allow users to take pictures in portrait mode.
Xiaomi Mi A2, Mi A2 Lite Specification
Xiaomi Mi A2 is likely to be the renamed version of the Xiaomi Mi 6X phone that was launched in China earlier this year. The Mi A2 should have a 5.99-inch Full HD display with an aspect ratio of 18: 9. Under the phone will run a Snapdragon 660 processor coupled with 3GB / 4GB of RAM.

In the photography department, Xiaomi Mi A2 will present 12 -megapixel and 20 megapixels and a 20-megapixel camera. Other features expected from the phone include artificial intelligence-integration, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and USB Type-C among others.
Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite should be bundled with a smaller HD + 5.84-inch display with a 19: 9 aspect ratio. It is expected to come with a slightly lower Snapdragon 625 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and up to 64GB of built-in storage. The rest of the phone specifications should be identical to the Mi A2.
