Anthony Martial has abandoned the official calendar of Man Utd 2019

After being tied to a move this summer, Anthony Martial has been experiencing a kind of awakening at Manchester United in recent months.

The Frenchman is leading the United goals standings this season with seven goals and three in his last five games.

All this after some tips from José Mourinho, who seem to have made the most of Martial.

But his achievements in goals are not enough to make him appear in the official calendar of United clubs for 2019.

While Paul Pogba, Romelu Lukaku and David De Gea were certainties to present, some of Martial's upcoming selections are questionable.

The Fred summer signing takes July while Ander Herrera is March and the forgotten man Eric Bailly is May's poster.

The calendar will have been printed months ago, but is the absence of Martial a concern?

Well, the reality is probably not.

Liverpool fans will have opened their new 2018 calendars with Philippe Coutinho, the player for January.

A few weeks later, he was out and signed for Barcelona. They also had Daniel Sturridge in February and he was loaned to West Brom.

Arsenal suffered the same fate last year, giving Sanchez the month of January, before going up and leaving for United.

Pogba is the United player for January, and he was tied to a departure from Old Trafford.

The French would be a target for Barcelona and the former club Juventus.
