The latest additions to the beta of WhatsApp for Android include consecutive voice messages and group call shortcuts, Reports WABetaInfo.
These two updates were delivered to the beta version of the messaging application on November 27, 2018, although they may not be available to all WhatsApp Beta for Android users yet.
The new voicemail feature allows users to stream voice messages if they are sent one after the other.
This feature will become available when two or more voicemail messages are detected by WhatsApp. The application will automatically broadcast all other consecutive voice messages, eliminating the need to manually play each clip.
WhatsApp is also testing its new group call shortcuts in its Android app, which allow users to start a group chat directly by pressing the group call button.
After pressing this button, WhatsApp will allow you to select the contacts you want to call and choose to initiate a video or voice call.
These features will be enabled remotely in upcoming updates of WhatsApp Beta for Android.
