A fire broke out on Shah Rukh Khan's film "Zero" in Film City, Mumbai on Thursday, police said. According to some information, SRK was on the set at the time of the incident and escaped unscathed. About five protesters were deployed to extinguish the flames.

Directed by Aanand L Rai, the film "Zero" revolves around three characters played by Shah Rukh, Anushka and Katrina Kaif. It traces the story of Bauua (Shah Rukh Khan), a man struggling with vertical difficulties, who falls in love with Aafia Yusufzai Bhinde (Anushka), a girl with cerebral palsy. However, his love story takes a dramatic turn when he also falls in love with the alcoholic actress Babita Kumari (Katrina Kaif).

"Zero" is also performed by Abhay Deol, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Javed Jaffrey and R Madhavan, alongside actors such as Salman Khan, Kajol, Deepika Padukone and Rani Mukerji, who will make appearances in the film. The highly anticipated film will be released on December 21st.
