United Methodist Church in Chesterfield Township to Hold Grinch-themed Worship Series | Life

Grace United Methodist Church in Chesterfield Township will begin a new series of Grinch-themed cults entitled "The Gospel According to Grinch".

"The Grinch is not just in the theaters of Anchor Bay," church leaders said in a press release. "Grace United Methodist Church will also welcome Grinch, Cindy Lou and all citizens of Whoville throughout the month of December for several community opportunities."

The series, which will be launched on December 2, tells "How the Grinch stole Christmas!" To "show how God can grow our hearts" three sizes too big "this season," the statement said.

The worship services will focus on the story of the birth of Jesus through the goal of the transformation experienced by Grinch.

The church will also begin a new "Junior Children" cult for children of all ages on December 2nd.

All ages are welcome to visit the church for a free family evening from 18:30. at 8 pm December 14th. The theme of the event is: "In a world of creaks, be a Cindy Lou Who".

The event will feature the original Grinch movie and snacks. Participants can also create crafts and treats that will benefit first responders from veterinarians returning home and from the region.

On December 16th, all children are invited to take part in the church's Christmas parade at the 11 am religious ceremony in the morning.

At all events, the church will receive donations to its "Christmas Miracle Offer". Donations will benefit the Feed The Bay Backpack program, which aims to eliminate child hunger on the weekends of the Anchor Bay School District.

All are also welcome to attend the church's Christmas Eve service at 4pm. and 20 hours The service at 16h will be family.

The Grace United Methodist Church hosts worship services on Sundays at 8:30 am and 11:00 am Church worship services began in June 1979 at Anchor Bay High School, says the church's website. The current church building opened in 1985 and the new sanctuary opened in 1993.

Reverend Brian Steele is the current pastor of the church. He began his term as the eighth pastor of the church in July after the retirement of Rev. Dr. Jean-Pierre Duncan.
