Wellesley Troop 182 recently honored Elijah Lorenzana of Dedham and Evan Jenness of Wellesley as her two newest Eagle Scouts

He adjusted his role and began teaching young Scouts. In her role at her school, Lorenzana also gave back to her community by participating in community service projects such as the PAE Animal Shelter in Quito, Ecuador.
The family moved permanently to the Boston area in 2015. Last year, he joined a service project to improve sustainable agriculture in Tanzania. At home, Lorenzana led her Eagle project team to collect clothing, school supplies and camping gear for the House for Small Vagrants. Lorenzana recently graduated from the British School of Boston and goes to Wentworth Institute of Technology in the fall.
Jenness, son of Mark and Ann Jenness, began his journey to Eagle in first year as a Cub in Wellesley's Pack. 195 at Upham Elementary. He joined the Boy Scouts and joined the 182 troop in 2012. An active participant, he climbed the ladder and finally reached the Eagle rank on November 29, 2017. For her Eagle Service Project, Jenness is associated with the Trustees of Reservations.
