Adobe plans to update all of its applications – Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator and Mix – with options to have full versions run on the iPad and desktop computers and continue working on another device. However, the schedule for all this is still very vague. It seems that Photoshop will be the first application to get the update and Illustrator will arrive at an unknown date in the future. No word on Premiere on the iPad though.
It is also unclear what exactly will be a "full" version of Photoshop on the iPad, because the report claims that the application will not be a good replacement for Photoshop, at least not at beginning. He will start as a companion and potentially develop from there. We will have to wait and see what Adobe shows in October for more details, it seems.
