African Infrastructure Investment Managers (AIIM) acquired (03-Jul-2018) a 50% interest in Operating Company and Airport Management (SEGAP), a holding company with a portfolio of airport investments in the West and in Central Africa. The acquisition, through the African Infrastructure Investment Fund 3, will further diversify its portfolio. SEGAP remains 50% owned by the Egis group. AIIM will provide additional strategic support to SEGAP and provide access to capital to continue its expansion. This will allow SEGAP to capitalize on growth opportunities "as Africa's aviation sector matures and opens up for private sector investment in airport infrastructure". [more – original PR]
