At WWDC 2018 Apple promised to improve Siri for iOS 12 and, true to his word, the company released a beta version of the application Siri Shortcuts via TestFlight to selected third parties.
Developers who want to use the new IFTTT-type application for a test can request access by logging into the Developer Center, after which Apple will send some testers an email notification granting permission.
This feature will allow developers to create a single Siri voice command to trigger a series of automated functions

The idea of Siri Shortcuts, based on the Apple Workflow application acquired in 2017, is to extend the automation beyond HomeKit to all aspects of iOS 12.
When it was announced in June, Apple used the example of a phrase "I'm at home", which then automatically triggered the sending of a text to a specific contact, turned on the thermostat and a fan, presented the u ser with the travel time for the trip from back, and started playing a radio station.

Apple has warned that the beta currently has limited and missing stock, does not yet have iCloud sync and will not be able to open apps if the iPhone is locked. However, testers already using Workflow will see their existing shortcuts migrate automatically to the new application.
It is not yet known whether there will be a public beta release before its official launch later this year, but this first beta release is open only to developers.
