Asus launches ROG Gaming smartphone in India for 69,990 INR

Asus, the Taiwanese electronics and computer hardware company launched its popular ROG (Republic Of Gamers) gaming smartphone in India today.

Game-centric smartphone features 6 inches full HD + AMOLED show with Refresh rate of 90Hz, HDR visuals, 1 ms response time and 10000: 1 contrast ratio for smooth visual rendering in high-end gaming. The device is designed to run rich graphics games by feeding it with an overclocked processor. Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, clocked up to 2.9 GHz and Qualcomm Adreno 630 GPU.

With an interesting design, the Asus ROG sports side ports, optimized for landscape mode, give the appearance of a game console when accessories are connected.

Considered the world's first gaming smartphone with multilayer cooling, ROG includes a carbon cooling pad, a copper heating divider and a 3D Steam Room to attenuate the heating of the unit when playing videos for an extended period.

One of the most interesting features of ROG Asus is AirTrigger ultrasonic touch sensors to provide console-style gaming experiences.

Although not a smartphone for photography, the game smartphone has two 12MP and 8MP rear cameras and the LED flash. Upstream, Asus ROG has a 8MP camera to click on selfies.

The company says that when it is fully charged, the device can last up to 7 hours.
