Ochilo Ayacko and five other politicians from Senator Migori's headquarters agreed to support the NEC's decision to directly nominate the party's candidate.
They also assured Thursday that they " will support the flag bearer chosen by the party and ensure that it retains the seat" and that "n [19659003] one of them will deny and will resort to the judicial challenge of the appointment "s' he is not chosen.
ODM National Chairman John Mbadi, MP for Suba South, made the announcement in a statement to the newsrooms on Thursday evening
The statement followed a meeting of candidates with members of the National Council of Elections of the ODM and the Central Committee, before the meeting of Thursday with the National Executive Board
Aspirants Ayacko, John Pesa, Ochieng Mbeo, Willis Okelo Gordon Ogola and Dalmas Otieno attended the meeting.
They are among the eight contestants The other two are Eddie Oketch and Mark Okundi.
The six hopes held consultations with officials including Mbadi and NEB President Judy Pareno.
They agreed that ODM will invoke Rule 18.2 of the ODM election and appointment rules and will approve the decision of direct appointment.
They also agreed that the NEC will employ an objective and verifiable criterion, including loyalty, popular support and integrity to select the candidate so that ODM retains the seat.
The president reported that politicians thanked the board of directors for reprimanding ODM's. Migori officials who sought to usurp his role by convening an electoral college to name a candidate
The party led by opposition leader Raila Odinga previously rejected the vote by the Migori delegates who saw ister Ayacko takes the lead
Pareno said the ODM had nothing to do with the July 23 vote that showed that the hope had won 44 votes out of 77.
The approval of Makabong's Ayacko as standard bearer in the by-election scheduled for October 8.
