The striker has some work to do before being ready to play in the league, says Chelsea's head coach

Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri believes that Callum Hudson-Odoi is not yet ready for the Premier League, despite his impressive impression against PAOK on Thursday.

Hudson-Odoi, 18, scored his first goal for the club as Chelsea won the UEFA Europa League 4-0 win, securing first place in Group L.

After the win, Hudson-Odio stated that the goal "was like a dream" since he was able to create his first signature moment for his club for childhood.

The 18-year-old star was associated with a club start looking for more playing time, but was certainly impressed by her performance on Thursday.

But Sarri believes that the teenager striker must improve before having a chance in the Premier League.

"I do not know if he's able to play in the Premier League at 18, especially in a big team," he said at a press conference.

"If he's already ready to make a difference in the team like Chelsea, he'd be the best player in Europe in two years."

Chelsea ended a two-game winless streak with a victory over PAOK, reduced to 10 men in the seventh minute, when Yevhen Khacheridi was sent off.

Olivier Giroud scored twice in the first half and Alvaro Morata also scored goals to give Chelsea a boost.

But Sarri said the victory over the Greek team had no impact on his plans for Sunday when his team, Fulham.

"In the last game, the problem was the team, not one or two players," he said.

"So I think there were two different players, it would have been the same, the big problem was the team."
