The late Chris Cornell and Josh Man, Queens of the Stone Age, serve as narrators in a documentary about the artist of Chilean origin Alain Johannes, entitled Unfinished plan: the path of Alain Johannes. Previously, they worked with Johannes, along with many other notable artists, including PJ Harvey, Arctic Monkeys, Eagles of Death Metal and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
The film goes through Johannes' life and career, as well as his relationship with his late wife, Natasha Shneider, with whom he formed the Eleven group.
"It is in this group that Johannes has captured the energy that would turn him into a musician that he is today," reads the film. "Below these lines, information about Johannes illustrates a world of harmonies and history of inspiring music, where he is both author and founder."
The documentary, which had already been broadcast in Chile, will be screened in Los Angeles at Glendale Theater in Laemmle on December 14, Fork notes, with a Blu-ray version, DVD and on-demand to follow.
