Confirmation of the Chelsea team: Giroud has no Loftus Cheek in the Crystal Palace team

Chelsea will face Crystal Palace this afternoon as the Blues seek to win two consecutive victories in the Premier League.

Last season at Selhurst Park, the Blues had a shock with a 2-1 defeat against the Eagles, Tiemoue Bakayoko getting the single goal of the game for the Blues.

However, Maurizio Sarri's team has already defeated Roy Hodgson's team once this season and will want to repeat it this afternoon at the kickoff.

However, they will have to do it without Callum Hudson-Odoi and Pedro, both players being out of action after having problems in the thigh due to the victory over Watford.

Sarri therefore had to wiggle his bag a little bit after making no changes to the Watford team that had bowed to Leicester City the previous weekend.

Here's how the Blues line up below:

Chelsea: Kepa, Azpilicueta, Luiz, Rudiger, Alonso, Kante, Jorginho, Barkley, Willian, Giroud, Hazard.

Subs: Caballero, Kovacic, Christensen, Zappacosta, Ampadu, Emerson, Morata.
