He observed that the government by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries have already embarked on a new special program and policies aimed at restoring the status of Tanzanian cotton in the global market.

"From now on, all cotton will be marketed by farmers through the Agricultural Marketing Cooperative Societies (AMCOS) .Thus, we will improve the sector," he said.
