Bandai Namco Entertainment released the first trailer of Digimon Survive teases what's coming up in the survival strategy RPG where your conversation choices will redirect the story as it unfolds and how your Digimon will evolve in combat.
You play Takuma Momotsuka, a sophomore who gets lost in a parallel world while camping. Soon to have the chance to team up with Agumon, they must work together to survive the ferocious creatures that plague the parallel world as Takuma works on how to return to his own world.
The game, which will have about 100 Digimon species, will see Digimon evolve when their Digivolve requirements have been met. This will see them consume EP (Energy Points), and once their EP is exhausted, they will return to their original form. And, their EP can be restored whenever they attack enemies or talk to their partner in combat.
Digimon Survive will be released for Nintendo Switch in Japan in 2019.
