Formula 1 has witnessed a "new" Lewis Hamilton after winning the last two races of the season after his title, said his Mercedes boss, Toto Wolff.
Hamilton notably lost the title in 2016 against his teammate and rival Nico Rosberg after a tepid end to the previous season in which he was beaten by the German in the last three races of the same year.
But Wolff believes that Hamilton's dominant performances in Brazil and Abu Dhabi this year have proved that he was a different pilot.
"In fact, he has shown greater strength after winning the title of driver," Wolff said. "I think it's so integrated into the team and integrated that the title of the drivers was incomplete.
