The delegation of the Nigerian National Under-20 Team, Falconets, has landed in the Austrian city of Tirol The 9th FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup will be held in France on next month.
A contingent of 25 players and 11 officials, led by the Deputy Director of the Nigerian Football Federation (Technical), Siji Lagunju, former Nigerian international. "The delegation will leave Austria for France on August 2nd before the final which will start on Sunday August 5th."

The four official host cities of the 9th FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup are located in Brittany: Concarneau, Dinan / Léhon, Saint-Malo and Vannes. The Stade de la Rabine in Vannes will host the opening match on August 5th and the last match of the competition on August 24th.
Nigeria will face Haiti, China and Germany in Group D of the 16 nations final, while Group B has North Korea, England, Mexico and Brazil while that the United States, Japan, Paraguay and Spain are fighting in Group D.
