Gemma Collins to leave Essex and Arg to focus on Dancing On Ice

Gemma Collins announced her intention to leave Essex and move to Hertfordshire to dedicate herself to her ice dance training.

TOWIE diva, 37, will leave her boyfriend James 'Arg'. Money live alone in the near future as she moves to the village of Bovingdon, in Hertfordshire.

After surviving three weeks on the ITV show, Gemma is determined to devote more time to training after being criticized for her lack of practice on Sunday's show.

By moving from her plush Brentwood apartment to Bovingdon, Gemma will cut her two-hour commute along the busy M25.

Gemma commented from the red carpet of the Lorraine television series to Lorraine: "I'm moving from Essex, I'm moving to Bovingdon this week, it's the last night between Arg and me.

"My feet are going to talk this weekend.

"He'll have to do his own laundry and his own dinners, but you do not mind, eh baby?"

The Dancing On Ice scene has been built in Bovingdon since its return in 2018 with an ice rink and studio specially built on a former RAF site.

The DOI site offers two rinks – one for training and one for Sunday live broadcast.

It is unclear whether Gemma rents an apartment or stays in a hotel, but there are many places to stay in the area.

Bovingdon offers a selection of two- and three-star hotels, though it prefers a little luxury in the nearby Shendish Manor Hotel & Golf Course four-star, on the outskirts of Hemel Hempstead.
